My main focus was an iOT Cloud Platform for airco and heat pump installers and users.

This platform was designed to have connections from over 1 million airco and heat pump devices.

Therefore, from the beginning, we battle tested our platform, with load test. And set in place a robust set of system integration test.

We needed a generic unified datamodel to which all front-end applications and integrators could talk, without needing to worry about the technical details of each and every type of airco/heatpump device.

This losely coupled architecture in combination with the expected load, was a nice challenge to work on.
